Submitting to the Atmos Collections is not unlike submitting to a Grindstone Competition. Using the button below, you'll be directed to our 'User Dashboard'. If you already have an account with Grindstone's Submission Platform, you can log in as normal. If you don't yet have an account, you can register for one for free. There's no charge for this, ever.
We require those wishing to submit to have a user dashboard for the purpose of submitting. It allows us to manage them without the need for emails, attachments, or anything like that. You'll be able to view your submission under your 'My Entries' tab, and see any feedback or decisions made about your work can be viewed here after it's been read.
Work can either be sent to us via a copy + paste method or by uploading a PDF through our submission portal. If you're using Google Docs or a web-enabled text editor, then copy + paste should render perfect results. For most local editors, saving the file as a PDF and then uploading it is often the simplest method of getting your work to us with the correct formatting.
In this regards, please format all work as Times New Roman, 12pt, double spaced, with each new line indented (barring the first of each section). If you need any help or want to query anything, do drop us an email and we'd be happy to help. We understand that for some stylistic reasons, you may wish to alter fonts or formatting. If this is the case, then please do get in touch prior to submission.
Make sure, when submitting, that you've clicked the correct collection to submit to. Entries can not be moved over.
Please do not submit more than one piece of work at a time. Once your work has been read and a verdict has been given, then you may submit again. However, please do not redraft and resubmit the same piece of work. If we'd like you to do this, we'll get in touch.
We reserve the right to accept or deny work in any manner we see fit, and may revoke acceptance any time prior to publication if we wish to do so. Please read our full terms and conditions before submitting, as there is important information contained therein in pertinence to copyright, publishing rights, intellectual property rights, and remuneration rights. Prior to submission, you'll be asked to confirm that you have read these terms and agree to them, and doing so is confirmation that you accept everything contained therein and waive your right to dispute.
The Atmos Collections are not designed as a for-profit enterprise.
